Pole Yoga (Polga)

“Polga” is a blend of pole and Hatha yoga designed to build strength, flexibility, and alignment. The pole supports balance and deeper stretches while maintaining yoga’s mindful, meditative flow.

  • Each class includes:

    • Gentle warm-up to prepare the body

    • Yoga flows using the pole for support and balance

    • Deep stretching and flexibility work

    • Breathwork and mindful movement

    • Relaxation and cool-down

No pole experience is required. Movements are slow, intentional, and designed to help you build strength while staying connected to your breath.

    What to wear:

    • Comfortable yoga clothing

    • Leggings or fitted shorts

    • Barefoot or socks

  • Looking for a practice that helps you slow down, stretch deeply, and reconnect with your body? Polga offers a unique blend of yoga and pole support that allows you to explore movement in a new and supportive way.

In this class, the pole is used as a stabilizing tool to help support the body in balance poses, improve alignment, and allow for deeper stretches than you might find in a traditional yoga class. This added support makes many poses more accessible while also helping you build strength and control.

Through mindful movement and breath, Polga helps improve flexibility, increase mobility, and develop full-body strength in a gentle yet effective way. The practice encourages body awareness and allows you to move at a pace that feels good for you.

Many students find that Polga becomes a deeply relaxing and grounding experience — a space to release tension, move intentionally, and leave class feeling more open, balanced, and refreshed.
